Snazzys Monique (Snazzy Mister AA x Tontos Monique) is Skip The Kissins dam. She is a great halter point producing daughter of ROM race earner Snazzy Mister AA. Snazzy Mister (Snazzy Man AAAT x Rocky April AA) is the sire of daughters which have produced Superior Western and English Pleasure horses that have earned over 1690 points, 2 Res. World Championships, 6 Superior Performance Awards, 18 ROMs (16 performance and 2 halter), 194 All Round wins and 141 Res All Around wins, with only 7 performers!!!

'Snazzy' is a superb working ranch mare that has been there done that and loved every minute. She does everything from roping and penning to jumping and chasing cans. She is a great mare that passes her wonderful disposition and ability to produce on to her offspring; her oldest daughter, Super Snazzy Savanna, is a Halter Point Producing dam.  Skip The Kissin is a Futurity Top Five, and Futurity Money producer with only 3 foals to show.  Not only are her foals beautiful, they grow up and produce beautiful foals, too!

Janies Lassie, is a superb example of what her sire, Coosa Lad, is renowned for producing.  She is athletic, sweet, willing, talented and beautiful.  Coosa Lad has built and empire of top halter and performance horses becoming a true living legend in AQHA, APHA, ApHC and PHBA registries.  Now as more and more of his daughters enter breeding programs across the country, they are proving their ability to consistently produce exceptional foals in a wide variety of disciplines.

Janie has been bred to a wide variety of stallions over the years, APHA, AQHA, and most recently she has raised 2 stunning colored ApHC fillies. When she was crossed with Two Timen Tin, a son of Tin Man, she has produced her most notable offspring, an APHA daughter that at the tender age of 6 has already earned multiple Top 5 and Top 10 placings at the PtHA World Show, in addition to earning ROMs, and nearing her Superior in several events; Western Pleasure and HUS among them.  She’s earned 69 APHA performance points, and 4 ROMs!

We are expecting phenomenal things out of this cross.  Skipa Star and Coosa bred horses have been a proven cross for many years.  Janies Lassie was left open by her previous owners for 2008, so we will be breeding her to Skip The Kissin, for an early 2009 foal. They should produce terrific all around all day type show horses for years to come.

You can see her sire Coosa Lad at: “All Around Show Horses

A special thanks to Jennifer of Cow Creek Appaloosa’s for allowing us to add this fantastic mare to our program.

Her sire, Optional Investment pictured below:

Her Sire: Optional Investment
Optional Investment

Invest In The Sas, is a delightful little 15.1 hh bay mare that SCREAMS Western Pleasure!  And she should, just look at her pedigree!  She has it all!!! The signature "Invester" deep lope and pit-a-pat jog, a head set that is totally natural and a disposition that is to die for! Unfortunately an accident at the trainers when she was a 2 year old, ended a promising career as a Western Pleasure show mare.  She has since been added to our roster as the next great Western Pleasure and Lunge-line dam at Wind Swept Acres.

Julia's sire, Optional Investment, was bred by Dan McWhirter Quarter Horses, and was sired by the legendary "The Invester" and out of Lopin Investment, who is an own daughter of The Big Investment.  She is an APHA Superior Western Pleasure producer, AQHA & APHA ROM producer, and the dam of Good Ending, 4x APHA World Champion!

Invest In The Sas has 3 NSBA Hall of Fame sires on her papers   The Invester now also a member of the AQHA Hall of Fame; The Big Investment and Zippo Pat Bars!  Her dam, Kwista Brick is a Skips Brick x Speculator grand-daughter; both of these sires were accomplished show horses and proven sires of AQHA Champions, World Champions, Superior and ROM Halter and Performance Horses. Skips Brick and his sire, Skip Beware and commonly seen on the bottom side of top Pleasure Horses... such as The Big Investment!

"Julia" has had 3 foals now by Skip The Kissin, and they have all be STUNNING!  Her latest, a black filly, WSA Kissins NoOption, won both the Open and Non-Pro NDQHA futurities, was Res Champion in the RRVISS Futurity, was Undefeated in AQHA Open Weanling Mares, and was Res Grand Champion Amatuer mare all in 3 weekends!

ShesGotWhatItTakes with WSA Skips Got Chrome - May 4th 2009

I started searching for a daughter of "As Good As It Gets" several years ago when I got to know two exceptional geldings at my trainer's barn that her children have shown to too many titles and championships to mention.  They were super correct, in fact one was nationally qualified for Aged Youth Geldings, and earned his superior in Youth Halter... Both were fantastic movers, many times futurity champions with gaits so natural and soft they were almost addicting to watch!

It took me a while - but here she is!  Shesgotwhatittakes is just that, got what it takes!!!

My Own Indian Artifacts - May 2008

My Own Indian Summer, is a splendid POWERFUL daughter of Indian Artifacts out of an Invester/Skipa Star bred dam.  This amazing mare is what All Around competitors dream of; tall, elegant, correct, powerful with fantastic hocks, exceptional movement and extremely feminine without being overly refined... She is one of a very few mares sired by a World Champion Hunter Under Saddle horse, that would do well in a Halter class.  In addition to her phenomenal conformation, “Maya” has a lovely disposition.  She is kind to other horses in the pasture, and is careful with her handlers as well.  Maya is truly a treasure, and we are extremely happy to add her to Skip’s line up for 08.  They should produce terrific all around all day type show horses in the years to come.

My Own Indian Summer will be bred to Skip The Kissin for an early 09 foal.

WHY SETTLE - July 08

It took a long time to find just the right mare to start our "double registered" program, and ironically her name says alot about why it's taken me so long to get started... Why Settle.

Years ago, when I started thinking the "color" thing might be a wise investment, I decided didn't want just another "color mare".  I wanted the PERFECT color mare, one that would be just as valuble had she been born sorrel but in a dun, roan, or palomino package.  Well, I think I found her!

Why Settle is a daughter of The Federal Reserve, out of a ROM earning/Superior producing daughter of Zippo Pine Bar!  So, her pedigree is OUTSTANDING! Her confirmation top of the line and her amazing willing attitude!  And I don't need to tell you how stunning she moves!  The icing on this cake is she is a half sister by blood to my mare, Invest In The Sas.

A very special "Thank you" to Mary and Don Wentland to allow us to add this tremendous mare to our line up.
